MAWI is a British jewellery and accessories brand founded by Creative Director Mawi Keivom and Managing Director Tim Awan.

The first jewellery collection under the designers eponymous label was an instant hit garnering over one hundred stockists at her debut show, and led to the successful launch of the MAWI brand at London Fashion Week in 2003. Shortly after MAWI was awarded the NEW GENERATION AWARD for three consecutive seasons by the British Fashion Council.

Following the success of her jewellery line the designer whipped up a storm of fearless slogan handbags in 2014 and voilà, the CRIMINAL collection was born.

The iconic DEALER bag hustled its way into the fashion scene unlike any other bag – emblazoned with punk-rock detailing and a hard-edged realism guaranteed to shock the system. The ironic tongue-in-cheek gangster slogans garnered an immediate obsession and a large fan base. Strictly conservative mock-croc handbags in jet black and rich, glossy bordeaux punctured by brash slogans – resulting in diamanté dubbings that demand attention. The THIEF & DRUG MONEY slogans followed in quick succession. Having stood the test of time long past seasonal whims have faded, these timeless coveted pieces are like treasured heirlooms – becoming collectors’ items in their own right.
